Policy

At the Properteers Group, we believe in the importance of corporate social responsibility and are committed to making a positive impact on the communities we serve. Our dedication to social responsibility is rooted in our admiration and support for individuals and organisations that strive to improve the lives of others. This policy outlines our commitment to promoting accessibility, inclusivity, and empowerment for disabled individuals, as exemplified by our CSR ambassador Mr. Rafik Hussein with his exceptional contributions listed below;

  • Collaboration and Support Partnerships: We acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable work of our partner Mr.Rafik Hussein, the pioneer of accessibility and usability – disable home adaptations. We are proud to be collaborating with him, providing our services free of charge for his projects. As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, we actively seek partnerships and collaborations with organisations and individuals who share our mission of improving accessibility and usability for disabled individuals.
  • Accessibility and Usability: We recognize the importance of accessibility and usability in creating inclusive environments for people with disabilities. Inspired by Mr. Hussein’s advocacy, we are dedicated to implementing necessary adaptations in homes, commercial buildings, and our own facilities to ensure they are suitable for individuals with disabilities. We strive to provide accessible infrastructure, such as ramps, widened doorways, accessible bathrooms, and other vital modifications that facilitate ease of movement and enhance independence for disabled individuals.
  • Empowerment and Inclusivity: We believe in empowering disabled individuals and promoting inclusivity in all aspects of our operations. By fostering an inclusive workplace, we aim to provide equal opportunities for employment, career growth, and personal development for individuals with disabilities. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodation, and creating an environment where diversity is valued and respected.
  • Community Engagement and Advocacy: We actively engage with our local communities to raise awareness about disability rights, accessibility, and inclusivity. We support and participate in initiatives, events, and campaigns that promote equality and advocate for the rights of disabled individuals. Furthermore, we leverage our resources and influence to encourage other organisations, construction companies, councils, and governmental departments to contribute to the cause of accessibility and usability for disabled individuals.
  • Communication and Transparency: We believe in open and transparent communication with our stakeholders regarding our corporate social responsibility initiatives. We will regularly communicate our progress, activities, and achievements in promoting accessibility and inclusivity. Through our corporate communication channels, including our website, social media platforms, and internal publications, we will highlight the work of Mr. Rafik Hussein and other strategic partners in inspiring individuals and organisations who champion the cause of equality and inclusivity.
  • Building Greener: We are advocates and implementers of net carbon zero and sustainable build methodologies. We have deployed solar technologies, heat source pumps, lean heating and ventilation systems, EV vehicle charging points, energy efficient and energy savings strategies, Light Gauge Steel and timber modular technologies, Green and Blue Roof methodologies. 
  • Community Clinics: The CEO of our group blocks out Friday afternoons as pro-bono time to serve a clinic whereby community organisations, big and small are able to access free advice and guidance from his experience in strategy, fundraising, legal, accounting, influence and connections etc. He is supported with partners such as Legal 500 firm Healys LLP, local councillors and MP who allocate staff as CSR and bro-bono time.
  • Property Education Initiatives: From coaching, mentoring to delivering masterclasses and crash courses. The Properteers Education team are busy in building a comprehensive curriculum to be shared with the wider community to become educated in real estate investment as long term view to overcoming poverty and housing shortages.
  • Youth Leadership Initiatives: Properteers takes the fostering of youth and talent very seriously. Leaders of the group regularly deliver school assemblies and have held youth leadership development programmes such as the Heckathon. We engage with troubled groups amongst youth such as ex-convicts and give them work experience and mentorship opportunities.

In conclusion, with the assistance of exceptional partners such as Mr. Rafik Hussein, Healys LLP, Riverside Multicultural Community, Schools and Local Authority, and their valuable contributions in improving the lives of vulnerable groups such as the disabled, the underprivileged and youth, with our corporate social responsibility endeavours. By following the principles outlined in this policy, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these vulnerable communities to contribute to creating a fairer, balanced and inclusive society.
